Alison Bodell

Registered Manager

Alison Bodell has been serving as the Registered Manager at Bradcare for seven years, where she shares responsibility with the owner for the company’s daily operations. Her focus is on creating a caring environment for clients by maintaining high standards of professional practice that meet their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs.

After completing her studies, Alison spent seven years in manufacturing before transitioning to the care sector, where she worked with adults and children. She began at Bladon House School as a supervisor of catering and domestic staff from 1988 to 1999. She then joined Staffordshire County Council, working as a care worker at Horace Pritchard House, a residential care home for elderly adults, while completing her care and management qualifications.

Alison’s dedication led to promotions within Staffordshire County Council, where she eventually became Senior Care Worker and Head of Hotel Services. Furthering her education, she earned a Diploma Level 5 in Management & Leadership and was subsequently promoted to Deputy Manager.

Sue Yeomans

Senior Care Coordinator

Sue has dedicated 15 years to Bradcare, primarily focusing on crafting staff schedules while also manageing senior administrative duties with proficiency.

Before joining Bradcare, Sue accumulated two decades of experience in the Hotel and Catering industry. Her enduring passion for fine dining, particularly her appreciation for wine, remains evident. She enjoys socialising with friends and family in various hospitality settings, including hotels and restaurants.

Outside of her professional life, Sue nurtures a love for travel, exploring cities both domestically and abroad throughout the year. Additionally, she finds relaxation and pleasure in her garden during warmer weather, and delights in hosting gatherings with friends over a glass or two of wine.

Sue’s commitment to her work, coupled with her extensive knowledge, experience, and professionalism, enables her to effectively tackle the most demanding challenges faced by the company. Her pivotal role within the company significantly enhances its operations and overall success.

Stephen Cope

Lead Instructor

Stephen has dedicated over forty years to the care sector, starting as a volunteer and later working full-time, training staff across the United Kingdom. His core belief is that everyone deserves a better life, regardless of their abilities. Throughout his career, he has used his expertise to help individuals improve their personal skills, confidence, and independence.

I’ve made it a priority to instil these values and practices in my colleagues, leading by example and providing support and training at every level. Outside of work, I enjoy leisure activities with my wife, such as gardening and hiking in places like the Peak District or Welsh borders. During the winter, I umpire hockey games on weekends.

Stephen’s extensive experience and track record have greatly contributed to enhancing the knowledge and skills of all our care staff. He has elevated the standards of our company, and we are recognised in our markets for delivering excellence, with Stephen playing a significant role in our success.

Victoria Potter

Office Administrator

Victoria brings extensive experience in business administration to her role. She began her career at the British Home Office, where she gained valuable insights into office operations and manageing people, particularly vulnerable adults.

Since joining Bradcare in 2019, Victoria has excelled in administrative tasks, quickly becoming an integral part of the team. She specialises in investigating and resolving issues, particularly in medication-related matters.

Victoria is known for her excellent interpersonal skills, regularly liaising with social services, hospital staff, and clients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children and socialising with friends and family, whether it’s dining out or exploring local farms.

Sarah Brown

Care Coordinator

Sarah joined Bradcare in May 2019 as a carer, where she gained valuable experience working closely with co workers, clients, and families. Known for her flexibility and dedication, she consistently went above and beyond, often working flexible hours to meet the needs of the company.

With her strong work ethic and commitment to growth, Sarah earned her NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care by September 2021. This achievement led to her transition into the role of assistant Rota Planner and Administrator.

In her current position as Care Coordinator/Administrator, Sarah excels in manageing schedules, facilitating communication among care professionals, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services. Her expertise in roster management allows her to optimize staffing levels and adapt to changing needs within the home care services sector.

Sarah’s ability to handle challenging situations and her diligent work ethic make her a valuable asset to the company. She plays a key role in ensuring that both care clients and care staff receive the support they need for seamless operations and company growth.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Sarah finds great joy in socialising with her extensive network of friends and her large, close-knit family.
